The summer break has come and gone as fast as it does every year, but not without us getting together to film some more trick shot videos for you to watch.
The first one we’ve released is an idea we had to do a golf shot with a difference. Instead of hitting at a stationary target, we figured it would be cool to hit a moving target. So after getting a few old dinner plates and a whole bunch of range balls, we headed down to the Busselton beach while we were on holidays and starting wacking balls at a dinner plate.
After repeatedly missing by the smallest of margins we ran out of balls. We could not believe we hadn’t got the shot yet so we went out to sea and snorkelled around, diving down to pick up the balls. We managed to find almost all of them which was pretty amazing. This was actually really fun to do, sort’ve like a treasure hunt in the ocean. We’re lucky we have such beautiful oceans in Western Australia!
Anyway, back on land, we resumed hitting and sure enough after only a little while longer we managed to hit the plate, making one of the loudest sounds I’ve heard in a while. The plate was obliterated mid-air by a golf ball struck by Scott’s 7-iron. As always, we went crazy in celebration for we’d once again achieved what we had set out to. We collected all the bits of the plate from the ocean and kept the lucky golf ball (which now has a chip out of it) as momento’s.
We’ve got another cool, creative video of our summer antics coming out soon. Stay tuned!
Peace!
p.s here’s the video – enjoy!
